The Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, Cranbrook B.C.

This fantastic tourist attraction is very much a work in progress. We throughly enjoyed our guided hour tour and refreshments in the opulent recreated Royal Alexandra Hotel Cafe. It is quite extrordinary how so many of these elegant rail cars have been assembled in one place. The amount of money and painstaking work to restore a single car - $200,000 - is mind blowing.
