Rhewl’s Ben Beatham is raising awareness of Britain’s largest helping organisation, the Samaritans, by driving a Smart car around Denbighshire[Wales].“You may have seen a very small, bright green, Smart car being driven around the Denbighshire area recently, emblazoned with a rather worried and distressed cartoon character,” Ben said.“It's part of a promotional tour around the UK to raise awareness of the Samaritans, an organisation who are available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year to help anyone in emotional distress, despairing or feeling suicidal.”The Samaritans can be contacted, in total confidence, on 08457 909090.
